Love this! So tasty don't know why there are so many bad reviews :(

Don’t bother

Vile! It is just vinegar abs peppery heat. It has none if the earthy beetroot taste I was hoping for and completely overpowers anything you put it on.

Not as described

Bottle says mild chilli but this is very untrue, its very hot chilli, to the point where i had to stop, blow my running nose and drink some water. Hotter than a madras curry. Also couldn't taste beetroot. Nothing about it is dreamy. Its got a strong thai taste. I would relabel it as spicy thai dressing as its very misleading

Unlike anything else & great if you like spicy!

It's the new marmite - you'll love it or hate it; no middle ground. It should carry a heat warning as it is a bit spicy, but no more than your average shop bought chile con carne. I love spicy and usually drown salad in Japanese 5 spice to give it a kick so this rocks as far as I am concerned. Don't think it tastes of chemicals, do think it has overtures (like that one?) of salad cream when I'd prefer full fat mayo but it really is an unusual and rather lovely. If you hate it, save it - it would be good in a blind-tasting party game. Very hard to guess what the heck it is! Even without a blindfold! Enjoy lovers, try it if you haven't and you might be pleasantly surprised. If not I recommend a plain yoghurt chaser or dark chocolate ;)

too vinegary and acidic. smells awful and tastes like poison

Really nice - yes it is quite spicy. Definite Thai slant to it with the chilli, lemon grass & coconut milk. I could taste the beetroot - gives a slightly sweet earthy flavour. Ironically works really well on .. beetroot

far too spicy for a salad dressing

poured some on my salad like a normal salad dressing. it nearly took the roof of my mouth out.had to throw the meal away.i read the label online and it didn't show the chilli symbol that you normally see if an item is spicy.I think a warning sign on the label would be a good idea,i was panting like a dog :)

Ignore the haters - this is GREAT !

Love this product ! Forgot which supermarket I’d bought it from and googled because I, along with my 2 young adult vegetarian kids, was desperate to find another bottle to cheer up our mega salads in the lockdown. Never write reviews, but could not believe the negatives about this. Yes, it is quite strong on the chilli ....which is GREAT ! Tastes so good ! We are patriotic .. but who wants salads to taste like they are from a 1945 street buffet ???? Don’t listen to the haters ! x x

Oh what a great pity! I was so looking forward to

Oh what a great pity! I was so looking forward to using this as I love beetroot. Although the chilli rating on the bottle says mild, the combination of that and mustard seed completely knocks out any taste of beetroot and just leaves you with a zinging tongue. Great shame. P.S. I've had to give it one star because this system won't allow a zero rating.

I love beetroot and I love chillis but this is awful! Ruined a meal by mixing this in a salad. Absolutely no resemblance to beetroot. Left with unbearable burning sensation. Really can't understand how this got past taste testing? Very disappointing.
