I have found that it depends on which country the grapes are from to enjoy fat, sweet muscat grapes! Those from Brazil are small and do not have that "muscat" taste or aroma. The best ones I have ever had were grown in South Africa by a grower named "van Niekerk". I have not been able to find his grapes for some time. In my opinion there is no finer, sweeter, tastier grape than the Sable and have not found another grape to match it - providing it is a proper muscat grape!
Overpriced and not very fresh
They had a nice but sweet flavour, but they were definitely not fresh. The fruits were slightly wrinkly and the stems/stalks were completely dried out and brown instead of fresh and green. The cost quite a lot too which I feel I had been Used by Tesco to offload some of their cr*ppy produce and I think the person picking my shopping needs a little more training. I wouldn’t have minded if they were fresh.
Not as good as usual
I don’t mind paying a bit extra for a really nice tasting grape, but last week’s Finest Sable Seedless Grapes were tasteless. Normally they’re good. Hope tomorrow’s are nicer...
Absolutely gorgeous, small, sweet and juicy.
Bit of a gamble. Had this 3 time. First two were fine (5*), but latest were tainted by smell of mould straight out of the pack and then rapidly developed a rich fur of mould. Curiously, they were also less ripe and less concentrated than the first two batches. Seems to be a different variety from a different producer. Definitely not "finest".
the best & tastiest black grapes I have ever had
These grapes are simply the best I have ever eaten - full of flavour, crisp& juicy. cannot wait for my next delivery!
Sweet crisp full flavour
These are consistently delicious - firm, crunchy, and sweet.
Home delivery and they weren’t very fresh as 1 day use by date. Nice flavour but would have tasted better if they were fresher.
