We loved it last year. It wasn't sickeningly sweet like long life yule logs. I wish this was sold all year around.
Not to be missed if you like fresh cream cakes.
Delicious and freezes well, but remember to cut into portions before freezing.
dry with thick lumps of sickly chocolate cream
Sponge was very dry, the chocolate butter cream was extremely thick in places, with nothing in others. Very unpleasant to eat and most of it was thrown away
Bought this for christmas divine best cake the family had ever tasted well done Tesco..
I promise I didn't eat most of it ;)
Was delicious, good light dessert after a Christmas dinner, served with single cream.good value . Will be a must have next Christmas :)
Wonderful item - ordered this for the past three years and it never disappoints. No issues with the date as I freeze it and only takes 4 hours to defrost. Lovely texture and makes for a beautiful dessert with lashings of cream. Don't understand the negative reviews. Very competitive price too.
Disappointed. Not like the photo.
It was not really like the photo. There were only two or three white chocolate shavings and the whole thing was more rectangular than round. It didn’t look like a yule log, more of a plank. There was very little cream, except on either end, as soon as you sliced into it the lines of cream were pencil thin. Very disappointing overall.
Dry, tasteless very disappointing. Bought 2 had to throw 1 away .
Don’t bother if you’re buying for Christmas. Unless you buy it on Christmas Eve, it won’t last
Nice texture, light sponge, not overly sweet but l
Nice texture, light sponge, not overly sweet but lacking the chocolatey taste.
