- British Gooseberries Plump and juicy, ideal for puddings and smoothies
For maximum freshness, keep refrigerated. To give best flavour bring to room temperature before eating. Wash before use.
- Hob 10-15 mins 100ml water, 400g gooseberries, 3 tbsp sugar. Cut or snip top and tail of berries, rinse under running water, then cook in gently simmering water with sugar added on a low heat for 10 minutes until berries are soft. Add sugar to the final product to make it sweeter. To make the gooseberries softer (for making into sauce, etc), cook for a further 5 minutes.

- Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on day of purchase. Use within one month.
