Not as good as the boxed Indian meal
Meal is very good, but - could not get lids off the plastic containers, had to use force with a knife! The instructions tell you to microwave each container for 4 mins, but by the time I had done all 4, and left for 2 mins as stated, the first one was cold and had to reheat. It does say that you can put it in the oven by pouring it all into new dishes, but then it creates loads of washing up. Also you have to put the grill on specially for only 1 nan bread. We prefer the indian meal in the box, put the oven on for all of it, cook it in the original containers and its ready all together at the end, and you got a nan bread each. Please can you revert back to the boxed takeaways, we loved those most weeks.
Tasty, convenient - what’s not to like!?
If you follow the microwave instructions, cooking in their own containers, fresh or straight from the freezer, these takeaways are really good. Plenty enough for two. I usually add some dried chill flakes halfway through cos we like hot curries, but even without, they’re nice and tasty. Just wish they were in stock more often.
Tasty meal but the fact that you have to put every
Tasty meal but the fact that you have to put everything into oven dishes to cook is a pain! Please make the dishes everything comes in oven cookable.
I bought this today and followed the instructions precisely to heat up each dish. The rice was rubbery and the grains were stuck together. The hot chicken tikka tasted sweet. The bombay potatoes seemed to be undercooked. The naan bread was ok but there was only one to share between two people. There is a lot of food, but the quality is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this.
Tasty and convenient
