Really used to enjoy this....BEFORE i realised the chicken was from Thailand!...wouldn't touch it now.
It's Ok, plenty of flavour. It's not hot as a madras should be though, and I found it can be quite watery on the plate.
Lose The Leaves
This has a great taste, but is full of small leaves that make it rather unpleasant to eat as they have to be picked out. The Vindaloo that you've stopped doing was a much better product. FWIW - I've been eating curry for over forty years in the UK and India and have never had leaves like this in any curry. Chopped finely maybe, but not like this.
