Best-Selling peppers from frozen 10/10
Cheaper than fresh, plus already sliced perfect for stir fry's, & others...
Tesco, have these been blanced before freezing?
Tesco, have these been blanced before freezing? Not much taste, limp and without flavour once defrosted but, yes, they are in the freezer for adding to casseroles, curry and pasta sauces - at the last minute- for a little extra colour if I do not have fresh peppers.
Not quite a review
Sorry, but has no one come across 'clip-its'. Cut the bag at the top use what you need; and then use a 'clip-it' to seal. Pop back into the freezer for next time. Works for me with any bagged vegetables, chips and peas. Useful for frozen chips/wedges. Sorry for the rant. John
Very Nice
These are great, nice size pack, price ok, good quality.

Vile. Hard edges all the way through - very unpleasant indeed. I do not often bother to write reviews of things I do not like because I know that everyone has different tastes. However, these frozen peppers are nasty.

I STRUGGLE TO SLICE VEG. THESE LOOK IMPRESSIVE . THEY TASTE NOTHING LIKE FRESH.
stick to fresh
Its no good for stir fry. They lose the crunchiness as soon as they defrost. More for a pizza as an additive.
ideal for bunging into a curry or a casserole
Decent product at a very reasonable price. While, being frozen, these pre-sliced peppers are not really ideal for a salad or stir fry, they are ideal for bunging into a curry or a casserole or any dish that's going to be on the hob, or in the oven, for a couple of hours, saving the chef time and effort. And, aside from the packaging, there's no waste.
