Not the best as I think that even considering what it used for it is too soapy in its texture and flavour
Needs to be FULL fat low water content Mozz!
This is far better than grated cheese that has potato starch, but this needs to be FULL fat not MEDIUM fat low water content. Why would Tesco phone it in on something that is different than what you need for a pizza mozzarella?! Try the deli and ask for FULL fat low water mozzarella and wait for Tesco to get this product right.

Perfect. So many use options!
Perfect thin as a topping or cut thick for stuffing the crust. Also great used for Corn Dogs and many other recipes that require melted mozzarella. If you're looking for 'Flavour', perhaps pair with another cheese as mozzarella is generally very mild. Also note this mozzarella is firmer - emphasis on the ER - thus not suitable for grating.
OK, pretty bland
It's OK, I slightly prefer it to the regular mozzarella which just dissolves on a pizza. I know it's meant to be firmer but this goes a bit too far the other way, I struggle to melt it in my regular oven and if you leave it too long it tends to burn rather than melt. Might melt better in a higher-temperature, proper pizza oven? And it doesn't taste of much, but half a tinned anchovy on each half-slice of cheese works well.
Good texture but no taste! I know the pizza will have toppings, but my gosh I expected this mozzarella to have some flavour if it's own.

We find this is great for home made pizzas and works out as a more economical option that the fresh bagged mozzarella.
Fantastic mozzarella for pizza
Best mozzarella I've found for homemade pizza.
Excellent for pizza. Too much added water in the other mozzarella products.
