Preparation and Usage:

Mrs Crimble's Stuffing Mix
4 tablespoons (60g) vegetable oil
300ml (1/2 pint) hot water

Baking Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/170°C (for fan assisted ovens) / 375°F / Gas Mark 5.
2. Empty the Mrs Crimble's Sage & Onion Stuffing Mix into a bowl, add the vegetable oil and hot water and mix together with a fork.
3. Divide the mix into 10 and shape into balls - Slightly wet hands will help if the mixture is sticky. Or use the stuffing to pack into the neck of a chicken or turkey (ensure the giblets are removed).
4. Bake the stuffing balls on a greased tray for 20 minutes in a preheated oven until fully cooked and piping hot.

Oven temperatures and cooking times may vary. These instructions are given as a guide only.

Making it Special
Mrs Crimble's Sausage Meat Stuffing with Apple
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/170°C (for fan assisted ovens) / 375°F / Gas Mark 5.
2. Lightly fry 1 onion (peeled and finely chopped) with 1 tablespoon of oil over a medium heat until golden brown. Stir in 1 eating apple (peeled, cored and diced) and continue cooking for 1 minute.
3. Then add one pack of Mrs Crimble's Sage and Onion Stuffing Mix, 300ml (1/2 pint) of water and 400g of sausage meat or a pack of 6 sausages (skins removed). Mix until evenly blended.
4. Use this stuffing to pack into a 1kg loaf tin or bake in an ovenproof dish for 35-45 minutes until fully cooked and piping hot.

Add 3-4 shallots or a small onion peeled and finely chopped.
