these jacket potatoes make an ideal meal with your favourite topping. To

shorten the cooking time pop in the microwave first, then crisp up the skin in

Preheat oven. Scrub the potato then dry and pierce several times with a fork.
Place directly on shelf. Bake for 60-80 minutes or until the skin is golden.
Tip: If you push a metal skewer through the potato it will reduce the cooking
time by about 15 minutes.

Microwave

800W - 7 mins
900W - 6 mins

Scrub the potato then dry and pierce several times with a fork. Heat on full
power for 3 minutes 30 seconds (800W) / 3 minutes (900W), turn the potato over
then heat on full power for 3 minutes 30 seconds (800W) / 3 minutes (900W). If
cooking more than one potato at a time increase cooking time accordingly. Leave
to stand for 2 minutes after heating. For a crispy skin, finish off in the
oven.

Jacket Potato Your Way
Preheat oven. Pierce potato several times with a fork. When cooked top with
your favourite filling.

Classic Way
Pour some olive oil into your hands and rub over potato. Scatter sea salt over
potato. Place directly onto oven shelf and bake for 75-90 minutes at fan 200oC
/ 220oC / Gas 6. The best balance between taste and convenience.

Quick Way
Place potato in microwave. Cook according to instructions given. Brush potato
with sunflower or olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Place dircetly onto
oven shelf and bake for 30 minutes at fan 220oC / 240oC / Gas 6 until skin is
crisp. A shortcut to a great taste.

Slow Way
Pour some olive oil into your hands and rub over potato. Scatter sea salt over
potato. Place directly onto oven shelf and bake for 135 - 150 minutes at fan
170oC / 190oC / Gas 4. Best for an intense flavour.
