Power Tools Direct are a leading supplier of Power Tools, Hand Tools and Safety Workwear to the building industry, as well as the private individual. We have direct access to stock with a value of over £50M at any one time and in most cases we are able to provide either; next day delivery to your door, or next day collection from store, ensuring you have access to the products as soon as possible and the price you pay is kept rock bottom.

We are able to provide you with trade price tools from over 250 leading manufacturers including such great names as; Makita, Bosch, Black & Decker, Metabo, Bostitch, Einhell, Britool, Bahco, Ryobi, Irwin, Faithfull, Black & Decker, Stanley and Hitachi. We quote a 2 day delivery service, but in most cases we are able to deliver to your door by the next working day if you place your order before 12 noon. For express delivery you will receive a tracking code from either Interlink or UK Mail giving a likely 1 hour delivery slot for your order.

Orders placed before 12.00pm on any day Mon-Fri will be shipped either on the day of purchase or the following day.

Delivery locations and exceptions

Orders will be shipped to any UK mainland destination although a premium may be required for Scottish Highlands, British Forces PO Boxes and offshore destinations.

Requirements to sign for delivery

Your order will require someone to be present at the delivery address to sign for the parcel, unless a specific instruction has been passed to us to allow for the order to be delivered to a neighbour, or designated safe place at the delivery address.

Missed delivery

If no-one is present when the delivery is attempted, the parcel will be returned to the carrier depot. The delivery will be re-attempted the following day and if the delivery fails on this second attempt, it will be necessary for you to arrange with the carrier for the collection of the parcel from their depot within 5 days, to avoid it being returned to us. Alternatively an instruction can be passed to us to allow for the delivery to a neighbour or a designated safe place at the delivery address in which case we can arrange for a further delivery attempt.

Changed your mind?

That’s no problem. All of our Tesco Partners offer the same Tesco direct policy as a minimum, the full details of which can be found on our Returns Policy page.

All items returned for a refund must be returned in original packaging in a state suitable for resale, or they cannot be refunded or returned to you unfortunately.

Charges for returns

Items returned due to a change of mind will be refunded if in a resaleable condition, but the cost of return unfortunately cannot be refunded.

Collection of unwanted items for return can be arranged at a cost of £16.95 for each 30Kg parcel making up the order.

Returns guidelines

Please let us have any tabs, labels and accessories, and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

Is your purchase faulty or damaged?

We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but if it doesn’t, please contact us.  Within the first 30 days we will issue a refund or replacement item to you.  Outside of the first 30 days we will be able to advise on the options to repair, replace or refund your item.
