Oak Furniture King is an online furniture store specialising in offering customers high quality, solid oak, hardwood furniture at unbeatable prices!

Located in Birmingham, West Midlands, Oak Furniture King’s growth has been so phenomenal that in November 2013, we moved to a 35,000 square foot distribution centre. From there, our quality oak furniture is delivered to customers nationwide.

(1) To offer the highest quality solid oak furniture to UK customers at unbeatable pricesOur solid oak furniture is, on the whole, handmade by experienced craftsmen. All our furniture is 100% solid hardwood, which has been kiln dried and seasoned to ensure it lasts a lifetime (our drawers also have dovetail joints).

Inferior wood veneers, chipboard and MDF (these may cause health issues) are not permitted in our inventory.We want our furniture to last a lifetime and we also want our customer’s lives to be as long and healthy as possible!

Please be aware that the dates shown during the ordering process and checkout are only estimates and are not guaranteed. If there are any specific delivery instructions we recommend contacting us directly once an order has been placed.

We do advise that charges and timings will vary for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, Orkney, Shetland and other Scottish islands with deliveries taking up to 8 days for outlying areas. The actual delivery cost and timings will be displayed during checkout.

We dispatch our items from Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) using the following couriers: Tuffnells Parcel Expres,XDP,Warley Carriers,Furdeco 2 Man Delivery,Trident Home Delivery Network.

Please note that the delivery information will be sent to you, the customer via email so please ensure that the correct information is present when ordering.

Delivery locations and exceptions

We ship to most areas of the UK. Please note that due to the size of some of our items we will be unable to deliver to the following postcodes BT, AB, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KW, LD, ZE, PA, PH. For outlying areas we will try to deliver to the timeframes above, but there may be some occasions when there might be a delay. In these circumstances we will contact you to let you know and keep you updated at all times.

All beds and triple wardrobes will be undeliverable to the following postcodes, AB, DD, IV1-45, 55-63, KW1-14, PA21-33, 34-41, PH1-41, 49, 50.

Requirements to sign for delivery

All of our items will require a signature; please ensure you are available to sign for your order when it is delivered.

Missed delivery

All deliveries will be agreed in advance with yourself, the customer. Following this we will receive a date or a tracking number. If we try to deliver on a prearranged day and you are not available there will be a redelivery fee to re-schedule the delivery. The re-delivery charges are £20.00 for small items and £40.00 for larger items.

In the event of an order cancellation after a missed delivery, there would be a deduction from the refund issued to cover the cost of the return of the goods. The deductions are £20.00 for small items and £40.00 for larger items.

Returns & Cancellation Policy

Changed your mind?

That’s no problem. All of our Tesco Partners offer the same Tesco direct policy as a minimum, the full details of which can be found on our Returns Policy page.

Charges for returns

If you change your mind and wish to return your item you will need to pay for the cost of return. Of course, if the item you have received is damaged or faulty, we will cover the cost of the return.

Unfortunately, none of our items can be returned by standard post and we estimate the cost of return for smaller items (for example bedside tables, lamp tables, nests etc.) to be £20 and for larger items (for example coffee tables, blanket boxes, dining tables & sets etc.) to be £40.

We offer a courier service to assist you with returning unwanted items, which costs £20 for small items and £40 for large items, and will be deducted from your refund. If you would like our help to arrange a courier collection, please let us know.

Returns guidelines

Please let us have any tabs, labels and accessories, and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

Please contact us prior to returning your item so that we can issue you with a returns number. This helps us to identify your return and ensure we can process your refund quickly.

Is your purchase faulty or damaged?

We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but if it doesn’t, please contact us. Within the first 30 days we will issue a refund or replacement item to you. Outside of the first 30 days we will be able to advise on the options to repair, replace or refund your item.

If your item arrives damaged you will need to make reasonable efforts to contact us within 2 working day.
