Vine Weevil causes damage in both its adult and larval stages, with the larvae causing the most lethal damage by destroying roots so severely that plants die. The first sign of this can be the plant wilting due to insufficient roots being left to support it.Vine Weevil will attack many plants both indoors and outdoors, from pot plants to trees and shrubs. Vine Weevil Killer is watered into the soil or compost and contains nematodes which seek out and kill the Vine Weevil larvae. The nematodes should be applied in spring and autumn to catch the larvae. Spring treatments should take place when the soil is over 5°C, which is usually around March, and the second treatment can take place from mid-August to October. Treatments are suitable for use in both greenhouses and outdoors dependent on the pest. Full instructions supplied with each treatment.Small pack treats 12 sq. metres; Large pack treats 100 sq. metres.
