Just Childsplay offers a huge range of great value educational toys and games aimed at children from birth through to around 12 years of age.

Having traded for over 12 year, we have formed strong relationships with over 50 reputable UK manufacturers and brand owners allowing us to bring a broad range of high quality products to our customers. Many of the products are not readily available on the High Street which adds to the uniqueness of our product range. Furthermore, as we only deal with reputable UK suppliers you can be assured.

Our customer service is second to none and we consistently achieve high feedback ratings from our customers. So if you have any queries or are not satisfed with your purchase for any reason then you can be assured of a prompt and courteous response.

Please be aware that charges and timings will vary for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, Orkney, Shetland and other Scottish islands with deliveries taking up to 8 days for outlying areas. The actual delivery cost and timings will be displayed during checkout.

We ship items using both Royal Mail and other UK couriers. For items carried by our couriers (usually next day express deliveries and / or larger items / orders) you will need to receive and sign for the delivery.

We operate Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, excluding Bank Holidays. For orders placed over a weekend or a Bank Holiday, we will despatch the order on the next working day for delivery within the timeframes stated. Should you wish to cancel an order then please notify us before we despatch the item, orders cannot be cancelled once despatched and would need to be returned upon receipt under our returns process if no longer required.

Delivery locations and exceptions

For standard Royal Mail deliveries, these are usually made within 3-5 working days. However, it can ocassionally take longer for reasons outside of our control, e.g, during busy periods or adverse weather conditions. Therefore, please allow up to 10 working days for delivery, and if not received then please contact us.

Requirements to sign for delivery

Royal Mail deliveries will not generally require a signature. However, express deliveries or orders carried by our couriers will require a signature on delivery.

Missed delivery

Our couriers will make two attempts to deliver and will leave a card to that effect each time. The card should have details of your consignment and contact details to allow you to re-arrange delivery or arrange to collect from a local depot.

For Royal Mail deliveries, only one attempt will be made to deliver . If delivery cannot be made then Royal Mail should leave a card advising on how to rearrange delivery or collection details should you wish to collect the item from your local delivery office.

Returns & Cancellation Policy

Changed your mind?

That’s no problem. All of our Tesco Partners offer the same Tesco direct policy as a minimum, the full details of which can be found here Returns Policy page.

For unwanted items, we ask that goods are returned to us unopened and unused and that they are carefully packaged to minimise the risk of damage in transit.

Charges for returns

For unwanted items, you will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Should we require faulty / damaged goods to be returned then we will advise accordingly and, in such cases, we will cover the cost of return postage. We strongly recommend that you retain your receipt as proof of posting when returning any items to us.

For smaller items weighing under 2KG the most cost effective route for returning unwanted items will usually be via Royal Mail 2nd class post with an estimated average cost of £4-£5. For larger items, that may require a courier service, then the cost can vary between £10-£20. In all cases, we recommend researching the different options available in order to obtain the most cost effective return option.

Returns guidelines

Please let us have any tabs, labels and accessories, and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

Should you wish to return an item for any reason then please contact us in the first instance with your name, address, order number, the reason for the requested return and the nature of the problem should the item be faulty / damaged. We will then authorise the return as appropriate. When a return is authorised, please include in the package a copy of the original delivery note together with details of the reason for the return (alternatively, a note can be included stating the reason for the return together with your name, address and order number).

Is your purchase faulty or damaged?

We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but if it doesn’t, please contact us.  Within the first 30 days we will issue a refund or replacement item to you.  Outside of the first 30 days we will be able to advise on the options to repair, replace or refund your item.
