About us

Our business has been established for over 30 years in the sewing industry. When it comes to experience in sewing machines, supplies and advice, our staff also have over 30 years experience in the industry.We stock a wide range of quality makes of sewing machines and overlockers including: Brother, Elna, Janome, Polty, Horn & Pfaff. We keep a large stock of spares and accessories, as well as general haberdashery.

As main agents for all the major brands, we are also able to provide a full repair service. We have a large fully stocked workshop on the premises where we offer a FREE ESTIMATE on all machines brought in for attention.

We also supply and service machines to Schools and Colleges throughout the UK.

Please be aware that charges and timings will vary for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, Orkney, Shetland and other Scottish islands with deliveries taking up to 8 days for outlying areas. The actual delivery cost and timings will be displayed during checkout.

We ship our items using a variety of couriers including DPD, City Link and Royal Mail. We will include details of who will be delivering your parcel when we confirm dispatch to you.

Kindly note that all items will be shipped Monday - Friday, excluding Bank Holidays and national holidays. For orders placed over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday we will dispatch this item on the next working day.

Delivery locations and exceptions

Requirements to sign for delivery

All items will need to be signed for. In the circumstances that the consignee is not reachable then a delivery card will be left for you to re-arrange delivery. No more than three attemps to deliver will be made after which, the item will be returned to us.

Missed delivery

A missed delivery card will be left for you to re-arrange delivery.

Returns & Cancellation Policy

Changed your mind?

That’s no problem. All of our Tesco Partners offer the same Tesco direct policy as a minimum, the full details of which can be found on our Returns Policy page.

We are happy to accept returns for all our products.

Charges for returns

If you change your mind and wish to return your item you need to pay for the cost of return. Of course, if the item you have received is damaged or faulty, we will cover the cost of the return.

Most of our items can be returned using Royal Mail, however our larger items may need to be returned by courier. If this is the case we estimate the cost of courier to be approximately £30. For change of mind returns you can either arrange your own courier or we can arrange for our courier for you. If you choose this option we will deduct the cost of the return from your refund.

Returns guidelines

Please let us have any tabs, labels and accessories, and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

Please return all items to our address below.

All items can be sent via Royal Mail or any courier service you wish to use. We recommend that you obtain proof of posting for all returns and consider insurance for higher value returns. Unfortunately, we are unable to process your returns unless we receive the goods from you.

Is your purchase faulty or damaged?

We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but if it doesn’t, please contact us.  Within the first 30 days we will issue a refund or replacement item to you.  Outside of the first 30 days we will be able to advise on the options to repair, replace or refund your item.
