DJM Music Ltd. is an online musical instrument and accessories retailer. We sell a wide range of musical instruments at great value and have been established for over 20 years. Our team share an enthusiasm for music but our real passion is to make playing an instrument accessible and affordable for all. With a selection of thousands of products, everyone can find something they would like to play.

We place great importance on the educational sector and many of our products are selected with students in mind supplying schools, LEAs and orchestras with products regularly across the UK. In our expansive range of products we have musical instruments that will suit all ages and abilities. With our experienced customer support team on hand we are here to help.

Please be aware that charges and timings will vary for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, Orkney, Shetland and other Scottish islands with deliveries taking up to 8 days for outlying areas. The actual delivery cost and timings will be displayed during checkout.

We ship our orders Monday – Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) and are usually despatched within 24 hours. Orders placed over the weekend will be despatched on the following Monday.

Delivery locations and exceptions

We deliver across the UK by post and courier, our delivery timescales are as follows: Royal Mail 48 Standard (small items): 2 - 5 working days, Royal Mail 48 Standard (large items): up to 7 working days, DPD: next working day delivery (please note Scottish Highlands and Ireland take 2 working days for delivery).

Requirements to sign for delivery

With small items that can be delivered through your letterbox a signature is not required but with larger items delivered by post a signature would be needed. Deliveries made by DPD require a signature upon delivery but as mentioned, you can arrange a delivery to a neighbour or on a different date (Monday – Friday).

Missed delivery

If your parcel is unable to be posted through your letterbox by the Royal Mail, a card will be left containing the contact details of the local depot that it has been returned to for collection or to arrange a re-delivery of the parcel. If the courier (DPD) is unable to deliver the parcel then it will be returned to the depot and a calling card will be left with details of how to arrange a re-delivery or a collection which can also be done online. DPD will try to deliver your parcel three times, if they are unable to deliver the parcel on the third attempt it will be returned to our warehouse upon which the item will be restocked and your order refunded.

That’s no problem. All of our Tesco Partners offer the same Tesco direct policy as a minimum, the full details of which can be found on our Returns Policy page.

Charges for returns

If you are returning an item that is not faulty or damaged you will be responsible for the return postage cost.

For the return of an unwanted item that is unable to be returned by post we can offer a courier return from £6.00 using DPD’s ParcelShop return service.

Returns guidelines

Please let us have any tabs, labels and accessories, and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

While the goods are in transit back to us, they are your responsibility and you may be liable for any damage that occurs due to insufficient packaging.

Is your purchase faulty or damaged?

We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but if it doesn’t, please contact us.  Within the first 30 days we will issue a refund or replacement item to you.  Outside of the first 30 days we will be able to advise on the options to repair, replace or refund your item.
