About us

Colanders was established in 1995 by David Eggison who is a trained chef and experienced retailer. We have both an Internet website and a high street shop where you can purchase all of our carefully selected high quality range of kitchenware products. Whether you are a professional chef, or someone who just loves to cook, our aim at Colanders is to provide you with all that you could possibly need. Our buying team have searched far and wide for those extra special things that you never knew you needed, and now cannot do without! We supply such Brands as Kenwood, Typhoon, OXO,London Pottery , Swift, Soda stream,Tala, Charles Viancin and much, much more. We hope you will find everything you need to make your time in the kitchen a success. We offer a wide range of delivery options to make the customers experirnce as easy and straight forward as possible. As a company that cares about the environment we actively participate in the Electrical Waste Recycling Program. Orders are shipped using Royal Mail Standard or Parcelforce depending on the weight and/or cost of the order. A signature will be required for Parcelforce deliveries.

We are happy to change the delivery address after a purchase is made, but only if the order has not been dispatched. Once an order is dispatched we are unable to change the delivery address.

Requirements to sign for delivery

Parcelforce require a signature. If you are not present at the time of delivery, the courier will post a card at said address. You can then contact ourselves or the courier direct to arrange a re-delivery of the order with Parcelforce.

Missed delivery

Re-delivery will be attempted at no extra charge to you.

Charges for returns

For items that are neither faulty or incorrect you will have to pay return postage costs. Once received we will process a refund for the item and original postage.

Returns guidelines

Please let us have any original packaging, tabs, labels and accessories, and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

You must contact ourselves first for any returns. Please return all items with paperwork, dependant on reason for return a pre-paid returns label will be submitted to you If the item is incorrect or faulty upon arrival.

Is your purchase faulty or damaged?

We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but if it doesn’t, please contact us.  Within the first 30 days we will issue a refund or replacement item to you.  Outside of the first 30 days we will be able to advise on the options to repair, replace or refund your item.
