About us

Here at Chewbz HQ we aren't afraid to say that we LOVE retro sweets! If we thought for one second the government would allow it, we'd campaign for your five a day allowance to include candy bananas, fruit salads and pear drops!

Chewbz aim is to provide retro sweet mad people with a delicious range of sweets gifts available from £2.50 and up. We've expanded our original range of Retro Sweet Chewbz to now include Retro Sweets Hampers, Retro Sweets Jars and Retro Sweets Gift Boxes to give you a greater selection of retro sweets gifts.

We take great pride in ensuring our customers receive the best products and service from us and enjoy the Chewbz experience, right from providing your with a good choice of products you'll love, through to the little sugar coated smile you will have on your face when you have eaten every last morsel of sugary goodness!

Please be aware that charges and timings will vary for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, Orkney, Shetland and other Scottish islands with deliveries taking up to 8 days for outlying areas. The actual delivery cost and timings will be displayed during checkout.

We ship our items using a variety of couriers including Interlink and and Royal Mail and we will inform you once your item has been dispatched.

We operate from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, excluding Bank Holidays. For orders placed over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday we will dispatch this item on the next working day to reach you within the timeframes outlined above.

Delivery locations and exceptions

We ship to all areas of the UK. For outlying areas we will try to deliver to the timeframes above, but there may be some occasions when there might be a delay. In these circumstances we will contact you to let you know and keep you updated at all times.

Requirements to sign for delivery

Most of our items will require a signature when delivered. If it is unlikely that you will be home when delivery is made, it may be easier for you to have your items sent to a neighbour or work address where someone can accept the parcel for you. If you are not in, a calling card will be left with instructions on how to arrange a redelivery at a more convenient time.

Missed delivery

If we try to deliver and you are not available our courier will leave a calling card to advise you about what to do next. You will be able to rearrange the delivery for a more convenient time or pick it up from a local depot.

Returns Policy

Changed your mind?

That’s no problem. All of our Tesco Partners offer the same Tesco direct policy as a minimum, the full details of which can be found on our Returns Policy page.

We are happy to accept returns for all of our products assuming they have not been open or eaten.

Charges for returns

If you change your mind and wish to return your item you will need to pay for the cost of return. Of course, if the item you have received is damaged or faulty, we will cover the cost of the return.

Most of our items can be returned using Royal Mail, however our larger items may need to be returned by courier. If this is the case we estimate the cost of courier returns to be approximately £8-10. For change of mind returns you can either arrange your own courier or we can arrange for our courier to collect from you. If you choose this option we will deduct the cost of the return from your refund.

Returns guidelines

Please let us have any tabs, labels and accessories, and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

We hope you enjoy your purchase, but if you wish to return it to us please return your item with a copy of your purchase email and order reference and a reason for your return. We must receive your goods to be able to process a refund so we strongly recommend you use a tracked service that requires a signature and proof of delivery.

Is your purchase faulty or damaged?

We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but if it doesn’t, please contact us.  Within the first 30 days we will issue a refund or replacement item to you.  Outside of the first 30 days we will be able to advise on the options to repair, replace or refund your item.
