Founded in 2009, Babe-equip is a family owned and run business specialising in products for new and young families with value for money and outsanding customer care at our core. We only sell products we would use ourselves and handpick everything that we offer. We love new and innovative products and watch out for the ones that we believe are really "usefull" and not just the latest gimmick! As parents we know that every penny counts and we aim to help you make the right descisions for your family.

Please be aware that charges and timings will vary for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, Orkney, Shetland and other Scottish islands with deliveries taking up to 8 days for outlying areas. The actual delivery cost and timings will be displayed during checkout.

We ship standard delivery smaller items by either Royal Mail 48 or by My Hermes. Larger items over 5kg are shipped with City Link. Tracking numbers are available for My Hermes and for City Link. Smaller express delivery items are shipped with Royal Mail next day before 12pm and larger items with Ciy Link or Parcelforce. Tracking numbers are availabe for all express delivery items.

We ship Monday to Friday except bank holidays.

Delivery locations and exceptions

We ship to all areas of the UK. For outlying areas we will try to deliver to the timeframes above, but there may be some occasions when there might be a delay. In these circumstances we will contact you to let you know and keep you updated at all times.

Requirements to sign for delivery

A signature is required for all express deliveries and all larger items as well as some standard deliveries . If you are noit available to receive your parcel the carrier will leave a card advising you how to arrange re-delivery. The order will be held at the delivery depot for up to 4 days following the second delivery attempt, after which time your items will be returned to our warehouse.

Missed delivery

If you are not available to receive your parcel the carrier will leave a card advising you how to arrange re delivery. If you do not arrange the redelivery promptly and the item is returned to us you may incur a charge to cover the return costs. It may also take some time for the parcel to get back to us and a refund may be delayed accordingly.

That’s no problem. All of our Tesco Partners offer the same Tesco direct policy as a minimum, the full details of which can be found here Returns Policy page.

Charges for returns

You are responsible for the cost of returning any items where you have changed your mind. If you need assistance to return an item please conact us. You are also responsible for ensuring the items are adequately packed to prevent damage in transit.

The cost of returning will vary according to the size and weight of your package. If your package is over 1 kg it will have to be sent by courier and this can cost between £4 and £20 depending on the carrier and the weight and size.

Returns guidelines

Please let us have any tabs, labels and accessories, and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

'For faulty items please contact us before returning either by calling us or emailing us as it may not be necessary to send the item back or we may need it to be sent to an alternative address. For change of mind returns please send them to our contact address. For all returns please ensure that you include your name, address, order number and reason for return in your parcel.

To return your order please post back to our address below complete with a covering letter which includes your name, order number and reson for returning.

Is your purchase faulty or damaged?

We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but if it doesn’t, please contact us.  Within the first 30 days we will issue a refund or replacement item to you.  Outside of the first 30 days we will be able to advise on the options to repair, replace or refund your item.
