What is Delivery Saver?
It's our subscription-based delivery service, designed to help you reduce the cost of home deliveries for your grocery, Wine by the case, F&F and Tesco direct orders (excluding orders placed with Tesco partners). Once you sign up, any orders you place at tesco.com will be delivered to your home without incurring delivery charges, as long as they reach the minimum spend level for the Tesco website you are ordering from. And you can do that once per day for every day your plan is valid. The more you shop, the more you save on delivery charges.
How do I sign up?
Just go to our home page, choose the plan that suits you best, then click to buy. Once you're signed up, you can start placing orders straight away, without paying an additional delivery charge, as long as your order meets any minimum spend requirements.
Can I use any credit or debit card to sign up?
You can use any Visa Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Tesco Credit Card. Unfortunately we are unable to accept sign ups using Visa Electron or Maestro cards.
How much could I save?
That depends how often you shop, and how much you usually pay for delivery. You can see a breakdown of all the savings you can make on our home page.
How many deliveries can I have?
Once you're signed up, you can have a delivery every day your plan is valid if you wish, as long as it's no more than once a day and there are slots available. Just choose the day and time you want from the available slots.
Can I get my groceries delivered to different addresses?
Yes, of course you can. There is no restriction on the number of different addresses you can have orders delivered to, as long as it's no more than one grocery delivery per day in total.
Is there a minimum spend?
For groceries, at final checkout, your order will need to total £40 or more. Tesco direct (excluding orders placed with Tesco partners) and F&F orders must be at least £10, whereas Wine by the case only requires you to place an order for a case of wine (6 bottles). If you want to build your basket gradually that's fine, you just need to make sure that when you check out for the last time before your delivery, your order reaches the relevant minimum spend level. Don't worry if your order falls below this threshold if there are substitutions, or products are unavailable, you won't be charged for the delivery. If your order does not meet the minimum spend levels you will be charged a minimum basket charge in addition to a delivery charge.
Once I'm signed up, how quickly can I start using Delivery Saver?
Right away on any new orders. You can even use it on orders you've already placed. All you have to do is amend the order: you can add or remove an item, or change the delivery slot - this action will activate your Delivery Saver plan and you will not be charged for the delivery.
Can I use Clubcard vouchers to pay for my Delivery Saver plan when I sign up?
Yes, you can. Simply go to www.tesco.com/clubcard and search for Delivery Saver where you can exchange Clubcard vouchers for a Delivery Saver coupon. For every 50p in vouchers you exchange, you'll get £1 back as a coupon to use against the cost of signing up to any of our Delivery Saver plans.
How many Clubcard vouchers can I use towards my Delivery Saver plan?
You can use as many Clubcard vouchers as you want to pay towards the cost of any Delivery Saver plan - or even pay for the whole plan with Clubcard vouchers. Your Delivery Saver coupon is valid for 6 months from the date of issue so you don't need to use it straight away.
Can I cancel my Delivery Saver plan?
Yes, you can cancel your renewal at any time. Just call our customer services team on 0800 323 4048. If you cancel within 14 days of signing up, and haven't had any Delivery Saver deliveries yet, we'll refund your subscription fee in full.
Will my Delivery Saver plan automatically renew?
Yes it will. Unless you let us know you'd like to cancel, your plan will automatically renew. We'll send you a reminder on email 7 days before your renewal payment is taken. You can stop the renewal at any time by calling customer services on 0800 323 4048.
I have already signed up to Delivery Saver, can I change which plan I am on?
If you wish to change which Delivery Saver plan you are on e.g. move from a 'Midweek' plan to an 'Anytime' plan you can choose to change plan by visiting your 'My Plan' page, clicking on "Change Plan" and selecting which plan you wish to change to. The change will take effect at the end of your current plan.
Can I use Clubcard vouchers to pay for my Delivery Saver renewal?
Yes, you can. Simply go to www.tesco.com/clubcard and search for Delivery Saver where you can exchange Clubcard vouchers for a Delivery Saver coupon. For every 50p in vouchers you exchange, you'll get £1 back as a coupon to use against the cost of renewal on any Delivery Saver plan.

What is the Delivery Saver Guarantee?
This guarantee relates to your grocery deliveries. It's our promise that you'll never be out of pocket with Delivery Saver. When your plan comes to an end, we'll work out exactly what you've saved on grocery deliveries by being a Delivery Saver customer. We will compare what you paid for your Delivery Saver plan and the delivery charges you would have paid without it. If it turns out you'd have spent less without it, we'll give you a grocery eCoupon for the difference. We'll email your eCoupon to you within 21 days of the end of your Delivery Saver plan.
When will priority access to Christmas delivery slots open?
An exclusive benefit for Delivery Saver customers is priority access to Christmas delivery slots. We will be in contact with all Delivery Saver customers before slots open with information specific to the plan that you are on. We can't guarantee you'll get the slot you want but by booking early you will have a much better chance of getting a time and date that suits you.
On the whole, the last delivery date for grocery orders is 23rd December. In a few areas we are able to deliver on Christmas Eve, if you are in these delivery areas then we will confirm this option to you directly.
Why has the price of Delivery Saver gone up?
Changing the price better reflects the effort and cost involved in our teams picking, packing and delivering your orders to give you an unbeatable experience. Our personal shoppers take care to pick your items the way you want them, e.g. with the longest use by dates, before carefully packing them, ready for you to collect or be delivered to your door.
When will the price rise happen?
The price rise goes live on site from 30 January 2017. From this date, new Delivery Saver customers will be charged the higher price. If you'e an existing customer, you'l only be charged the higher price if your plan renews on or after 13 February.
What if I'm on a free trial?
If you took out a free trial when you registered with Tesco groceries and decide to start a paid plan on or after 30 January, you'l pay the new price.
If you started a free trial before 30 January through the Delivery Saver page, you'l pay the price you chose when you began the trial, until renewal.
What happens if my renewal is before 13 February?
If your renewal is before 13 February, you'l pay the old price. Any renewals on or after this date will be at the new price.
Can I cancel my plan?
When you sign up to Delivery Saver, you have 14 days to decide whether to stick with or cancel the plan. If you've not had any deliveries during this period, we'l refund your full subscription.
After these first 14 days, you can cancel your next renewal. You can do this by following the steps in my Plan or by calling our customer services team on 0800 323 4048.
I signed up using a half price code. Will this still apply?
If you signed up to a discounted plan, this discount will be carried on to your next renewal. For example, if you have 50% off your next renewal, this will be automatically applied to your next plan.
What if I have applied Clubcard vouchers to my plan?
The value of the Clubcard voucher you used will stay the same when you renew. The only exception is if you've used them to pay for the total cost of your plan, in which case we'l honour that price.

What is the free trial?
The trial allows you to try Delivery Saver for a month, for free. The Delivery Saver trial means you can shop and get free deliveries 7 days a week on Tesco groceries, Tesco direct, F&F clothing and Wine by the case.
How long does the free trial last?
The trial is a month long after which you will automatically move on to a paid plan of your choice. You will be asked to select this plan when you sign up for the free trial however if you change your mind you can switch or cancel your plan any time during your free trial.
What do I get as part of my trial?
Free unlimited delivery on grocery orders of £40 or more (limited to one delivery a day).
Free next-day delivery and Click+Collect on Tesco direct (excluding partners) and F&F clothing orders of £10 or more.
Free next-day delivery on Wine by the case orders (where a case of wine (6 bottles) is ordered). Your free delivery of groceries and Tesco direct will begin as soon as you begin your trial. For free delivery of Wine by the case, you'll need an eCoupon code which we'll email to you within a 2 days of your trial being activated.
Who is entitled to a free trial?
All customers new to delivery saver are entitled to a free trial.
I am already a delivery saver customer, can I get a free trial?
The free trial is only available to new delivery saver customers. As a delivery saver customer you already save money on your deliveries and the more you shop the more you save.
How do I sign up?
Just go to our home page, select start your free trial then follow the simple instructions to start your trial. You will be asked to enter payment details, but you will not be charged at this point. Once you're signed up for your trial, you can start placing orders straight away on groceries (minimum spend £40), and Tesco direct and F&F (for orders of £10 or more), without paying an additional delivery charge. Within 2 working days of signing up, you will also receive an email with your free delivery codes to use on Wine by the case.
Why do I have to enter my payment details?
To make sure you have no interruption to your delivery service, we take your payment details up front so that you can automatically move on to the paid plan you selected on sign up after your free trial. If you decide that you would like a different plan or would like to cancel the plan, you can do so at any time during your free trial through My Plan or by calling our customer services team on 0800 323 4048.
Can I switch the paid plan I selected to move on to after my trial?
In My Plan you can change the plan you wish to switch to after your free trial.
Can I cancel my trial plan?
You can cancel your plan anytime during your free trial through My Plan or by calling our customer service team. You will still get the full month of Delivery Saver free as part of the trial. If you change your mind, you can also undo the cancellation through My Plan or by calling our customer services team on 0800 323 4048.
I haven't signed up, why am I being told I'm on a free Delivery Saver trial?
Delivery Saver customers, on average, save £98.58 a year so we wanted to give new Tesco groceries customers the opportunity to try it themselves. If at the end of your 30-day free trial you decide you'd like to move on to a Delivery Saver plan, simply visit tesco.com/deliverysaver where you can select a plan and register your payment details. It only takes two minutes to sign up. The instructions on the site will guide you through the process.
What happens at the end of the trial?
That's up to you. You can choose to sign up for a full plan or you can simply go back to paying a delivery charge each time you order. We'll be in touch shortly before your month of free deliveries ends to remind you of your options.
