Bursting with fresh berry fruit, reminiscent of biting into a summer strawberry, followed by a gentle finish of nicely tempered spice and quince.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 1 year
Winemaking at our place has been a tradition since 1847 when Johann Gramp planted his first vineyard on the banks of Jacob's Creek.
The lead up to the notably cool 2011 vintage was excellent. The generous rainfall during the winter of 2010 gave rise to soil profiles that were nice and full for the growing season. This in turn meant the vines were in great shape for the season with generous canopies protecting the fruit from the summer sun. For Shiraz that is being grown to make Rosé, a full canopy helps maintain the delicate berry flavours and aromas of the fruit whilst still allowing the berry to gather the beautiful pink colour.

This is a really fruity, light Rose, very enjoyable. I normally like dry wine so it is not too sweet although it is fruity. A fantastic discovery and not available from a lot of places.
