Victoria Moore - Weekend, Daily Telegraph 18/04/2015
Of the 2012 vintage, Victoria Moore said: “Here’s a bottle I would open for an aperitif before a Thai soup or salad. It’s riesling, from the south-western corner of Australia, and it tastes like crystallised oranges and limes and white flowers that have been given the most ferocious earthquake tremor of a boot of acidity. Also, it reminds me a bit of dry sand. Aussie rieslings almost always do.
Anthony Rose - The Independent Magazine 02/05/2015
Of the 2012 vintage, Anthony Rose said: "This dry white from Howard Park is the epitome of spring cheer, with a tongue tingling freshness that chimes perfectly with seafood."
Jamie Goode - S Magazine, Sunday Express 19/07/2015
Of the 2012 vintage, Jamie Goode said: “Riesling is ideal for summer and this one has a highly aromatic, limey nose with a hint of melon. The lively palate is clean and citrussy but rounded, even though this is a dry wine. Pop it in your picnic hamper.”
Founded in 1986, Howard Park has spent the last two decades cementing its position as one of Western Australia's leading wine producers. Owners Jeff & Amy Burch are firm believers in the cool coastal climate for producing outstanding wines.
Large in geographical area and varied in landscape, the Great Southern region stretches 150kms inland from the coast and 100kms wide from East to West. The wineries are dotted amid the wild coastline and large national parks.
