Alive and vibrant, this wine has hoards of exotic passion fruit and balancing zingy freshness.
The lemon appeal and gooseberry flavours are refreshing and tantalising.

The winery was founded in 2004 and based in Marlborough, it claims to currently process in excess of 15% of all wine grapes in New Zealand. On site, they have an experienced team of fully qualified winemakers, as well as cellar & laboratory staff. They all work together with dedicated personal client winemakers to help ensure that each vintage produces wine to the exact specification of each client.

Marlborough can lay claim to starting the modern New Zealand wine industry. Here in the late 1970s, Marlborough produced Sauvignon Blanc, among other varieties, which led to confidence that New Zealand could produce interesting wine. In 2011, the Marlborough wine region represented 62% of total vineyard area in the country.

Probably the best Sauvignon Blanc on the market as far as I am concerned and excellent value compared to Sunday Bay.

This wine represents good value for money, compared to other Sauvignons it is what it says on the label, refreshing. The wine is easy on the palate whether drank accompanying food or on its own.....! The reach is one of our favourites....well worth a try.

This wine reminds me of what Cloudy Bay used to be like before they refined it too much. Light green colour nearly translucent and not too strong a flavour which I like. A very close second to The Post

I'm not sure it was what I was expecting. So when I got over that I started to enjoy it more. I normally expect a bit more aroma when I stick my hooter into the glass on a Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough and something a little more reassuring about it's rich flavour that I am used to. It may be that I have not tried enough, which whilst writing this I have sworn to resolve, but it was different. As the description suggests this is a very refreshing wine that feels very light and has a pleasant zip in it that keeps you filling your glass. We drank it as a kick off wine with nibbles before dinner and I had to crack open another as the first one went in a blink. My old man is Brancott Estate stalwart and he too felt this offered something really nice without losing all the comfort blanket that Brancott Estate gives him.

This wine exuded all the flavours that have made NZ Sauvignon world famous. Beautifully sharp and zingy with grapefruit to the fore. Great value at this price, get it while you can.

Terrific value - an absolute steal when on offer. This wine has a great combination of being really pleasing to the nose (a lovely grapefruit scent) with an excellent, clean finish. It is full in the mouth and avoids sharpness - just the right balance of sweetness and zestiness. Excellent.

I'd had this wine before and always buy it when its on offer. You can never really go wrong with a Marlborough Sauv Blanc, and this wine lived up to its expectations. I will be buy this wine again, especially at this price.

This is like a lot of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - full of vibrant strong flavour - gooseberry, and all those other fruits that get quoted. But that is what makes it a lot better than a lot of other Sauvignon Blancs - we have had some very disappointing ones from Australia recently, at the the same price. This is about as good as you can get at under a fiver if you like them fruity.

Had our eye on a much more costly wine for our wedding when we stumbled upon this little beauty! Served super cold it is a fresh and fruity delight! Now all we need is a nice hot day to really enjoy it. Can be kept for up to a year too, so can't believe my good luck.

Value for money wine, dryish side of medium, full bodied fruit throughout, good with all meats and fish, fruit carries it through, best when cold rather than cool. Typical of the Marlborough region of North North Island whites which in the main when priced at this level are, in the main, good value affordable wines.

A very nice light and refreshing wine. It is best served straight from the fridge as the taste mellows when it warms and is not quite the same. A crisp finish but not too perfumed on the palate. Enjoyed with lighter foods such as chicken or fish. Would recommend.

Very dissappointed with this , it did not have any of the expected characteristics of a Marlborough, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and tasted more of a cheap mass produced wine. We were glad to return the remaining 5 bottles and get a refund - the first time we have ever had to do this. We were very pleased with how our complaint was handled.

This is a good wine to purchase for every day drinking when it's on sale at 50% off. Like most wines we like in this home, there's always one or other that's discounted to make it an unmissable buy. It's not any better than Ocean's Edge or The Post but, likewise, they're a great buy at half price. We just bought some Villa Maria as it was well discounted. Delicious!

This is a wine that we buy when when we see it on special offer. It is light and fragrant with a delicious hint of gooseberry as all good Sauvignon Blancs should have. It is an excellent wine for everyday drinking, but needs to be well chilled.

This is a wonderful drink with so many excellent qualities. It is extremely fruity with many gentle and subtle flavours which seem to have a different effect on each part of the mouth starting with the lips and moving slowly backwards until it is swallowed and even then, it leaves a wonderful after taste. It is a drink for every occasion and can be thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. It is outstanding value for money and I fully recommend it.
