Bodega Monte Real (Royal Mount in English) was established in 2003 and is a family owned winery based in Rivadavia in Mendoza. N/A
The grapes for this Malbec Shiraz were sourced from the Tupungato and Santa Rosa valleys of the renowned Mendoza region of Argentina. This iconic wine region is renowned for the production of Malbec and produces wines at some of the highest altitudes in the world, in the foothills of the Andes. It is this altitude that ensures grapes maintain natural acidity which can be seen in this blend.

Everyone seems to like this wine, perhaps it's ok to replace sarsons on your fish and chips.

Though I will only buy this bottle if it's half price, it's a delicious bottle of Malbec Shiraz. I'm a massive fan of Argentinian wine after I was recommended Malbec by a friend. I don't think I will love another wine more than a Malbec and this one is always a success for me!

This wine is great, It does need to be at a good room temperature to get the full flavours. Good legs, great aroma and not too heavy on the palate. You can enjoy this with any red meats, roasted or grilled. I would definitely buy this again - yum.

We discovered a Malbec/Shiraz blend whilst out for a meal with friends and have tried vaious labled bottles since. We have never had a bad bottle and all were very drinkable. We purchased 12 bottles of this lable before Christmas whilst on offer at less than £5 per bottle with free delivery. If you like a Shiraz/Cabernet blend its worth giving Shiraz/Malbec a try and at the price we paid you cannot go wrong. The bottles we took with us to various parties recently were very well received.

We noticed the offer on this Red and bought a few bottles for sampling with family. We all agreed that it was a very good red and pleasing for all palates, so we decided to bulk-buy for our forthcoming wedding for the House Red.

I tried the Malbec Shiraz because my first choice was not available. I am so glad I did, because it was so good that I ordered another case. This is one that I will keep on hand. I gave a couple of bottles away to friends who wanted to know where to get them from. A lovely, smooth wine full of flavour. Well worth trying!!

We love this wine and have bought several cases. It is a soft, easy drinking red wine that goes with everything and is good on its own too! I always buy when it on half price offer so it is excellent value for money. If you love either Shiraz or Malbec then it is very likely that you will enjoy this easy drinker - buy plenty!

Malbec is usually a reliable full bodied wine with plenty of fruit and this is no exception.

This is a new discovery for me. A friend brought it as a gift to a dinner party and I don't know who it was, but I am very grateful to them. I love this wine, it's smooth and velvety and I agree that it tastes like chocolate and black cherry - yum! It is really good value to at £5 per bottle and I will be buying a case tomorrow. I'm surprised it's so good given it's quite a young vintage but it is.

One of the worst wines we have ever tasted, we bought 6 bottles, we poured half of the first bottle down the sink and took the other 5 back to our local Tesco. The taste is very bitter and leaves and shocking after taste in your mouth. Tesco sell much better wines at lower prices. Tesco should take this off the shelves

I had high hopes of this wine and am glad that I only purchased one bottle to try. There's nothing too much wrong with it but little to commend it either. Tesco have some excellent wines and I would rate this as ok but there are much better wines from Tesco at around about the same price.
