Background
History
Founded in 1908 by the Parera family, the house has been run since by the founders’ heirs, always with the will to bring the art of sparkling wine-making to the glass. Castellblanch was one of the first companies to use their own selection of yeasts and apply the process of microfiltration prior to tirage to purify the fermentation in the bottle. The Castellblanch production process has since become a model for advanced stirring methods.

lovely bubbly fresh taste ,but be careful when opening ,as i have found ,you lose about a glassful when opened. even when put in fridge.Many thanks.

I thoroughly enjoy this wine. It feels wonderful on the tongue and leaves a very pleasant after taste. It is an excellent sparkling wine to accompany Chicken, Fish, Shellfish or Pasta dishes. It is also a great wine to just pour a glass and enjoy. My Favourite

A superior tasting sparkling wine, which appeals to most ladies of various ages. I found it easy to drink with a meal or on its own, but it must be well chilled. We had it with a cold fish buffet, a really good choice for a festive occassion. if you can't stretch to champagne.

Only buy this wine because I can't get to France to buy it cheaper. Love it with cassis as a Kir Royale.
