This is easy drinking. Nothing special about it. isla Negra/First Cape is probably better as have deeper taste and better bouquet.

I'm marking this wine in relation to the price I paid , which was £2.84. It's actually perfectly drinkable so 4 stars.

I think I bought this by mistake. Was rather non descript and left our mouths feeling rather dry in the morning.

Very deep in colour. Good quaffing wine. No pretentions and not much bouquet. Just soft and easy drinking with plenty of plummy, spicy fruit flavours. Excellent with pasta, meat and cheeses. Wouldn't choose it for a main dinner wine but definitely for the next bottle or two!

dead cheap so didnt expect much and is a bit rough but will use it for cooking ....have tasted worse

A superb buy. This wine is very smooth, extremely good value and is an excellent wine to drink at any time. I will be buying again.

Structurally sound although unsurprisingly lacks any real nose or suppleness.

We've bought this before on special offer, so went for it again. Goes well with pasta, cheese, casseroles etc - great value for everyday drinking.

A good purchase, especially if you prefer a dry wine. Good value for money. Would certainly buy again.

I ordered this because of the reviews that had been written. This is at the average end of the cheaper wines available at Tesco. Though using a Cabernet grape which usually results in lots of bright fruit both in taste and on the nose this It is a simple lighter red.

Great little wine for every day. No bitter after-taste. Full of berries and very satisfying. Great value!

not a great wine, obviously, but very nice for the price. smooth, no rough edges, and a decent aftertaste. excellent for everyday quaffing.

Good flavoured, easy drinking cheap wine. Tastes good with all red meats, chicken & turkey. Also very nice on its own.

Thought it was just going to be a rough Spanish red, but the price was excellent for this wine. Easy drinking and quite full bodied.

Purchased when on offer at 3.5 quid a bottle- good everyday plonk without having a stupidly high alcohol content as seems to be the vogue at present.

Not fancy, I suppose, but seems well balanced/rounded with no irritations. Very satisfied given such a low sale price.

An excellent full bodied red wine and offers great value for money.

Let this wine breath and bring to just over room temerature and you have a cracking little Red wine that is quite full bodied and a has moorish flavour with a pleasant lingering after taste. Great value.

I purchased 6 of these on the basis of other glowing reviews. The wine has little depth but does have the character of a basic table red (warming, rough edges, but satisfying). Pay £1 more, do your research right & there are far better wines out there for minimal money. I won't bother again, but each to their own (and most buyers love it).

I love this red wine! It isn't expensive and tastes really good! I have bought it several times now and the 6 bottles don't last very long between myself and my husband! Would recommend as a no frills, simple, easy drinking red.

This was my first encounter with a Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon wine. It is all what you describe and goes well with cheese & meaty dishes.

The price belies the quality. just make sure the temperature is correct

This is a good value wine which can be drunk with a number of dishes and complements a variety of specifuc foods like cheese, pasta and casseroles. It can also be drunk as a pleasant part of a relaxing evening on its own. It is balanced and is easily drinkable and there is no after taste which other similar wines can leave
