From the Central Valley near the capital Santiago, this is a brilliant example of a Chilean Merlot-Fruity, full bodied, dark red and luscious, this wine has delightful berry notes along with masses of ripe black fruit and plum flavours and a lovely long aftertaste.

History
This wine is produced by one of Chile's leading wineries - Carolina Wine Brands - and Long Country is a tribute to the remarkable geography that Chile boasts. The main area for vineyard lies in the middle of Chile and this wine is made from grapes grown in the Central Valley which sits between the awesome Andes range of mountains and the coastal range. Here grapes ripen in perfect conditions - dry, warm, long, sunny days with cooler evening that increase the intensity of the flavours in our grapes.

this was smooth and extemely drinkable, went well with lamb but easily drunk on its own
