Full of bright cherry aromas followed by fresh red cherry fruit flavours

This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 1 year
Jamie Goode - S Magazine (Sunday Express) 09/12/2012Of the 2011 vintage, Jamie Goode said: “I wish all cheap Chianti could be like this. It’s bright and fresh with plenty of cherry and plum fruit. A well balanced and food-friendly wine.”
The Cecchi family trace their winemaking roots to 1893. In the 1970s, Cecchi moved to Castellina in Chianti, an area which has traditionally produced Chianti Classico. Since then its reputation has gone from strength to strength becoming one of the leading producers in Tuscany and beyond.

Chianti is produced in the area outlined by the appellation regulations of production in the provinces of Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Pisa and Pistoia. These areas are collectively known as the Tuscan Hills, which have an ancient winemaking heritage.

Very good wine but unfortunately I received only half of what I ordered. The rest was replaced by Corbieres. It was not fair and it will make me think twice when I am ordering from Tesco again.
