Background
History
The Zinfandel grapes are vinified in Southern Italy and then blended with Bracetto and Muscat. In Northern Italy they then undergo their second fermentation to introduce the bubbles.

I love this wine, it's so refreshing and easy to drink - a bit too easy!! it is a cheaper alternative to Beringer sparkling zindenfel and it's not far behind it in taste and quality, it's just a little less sparkling, but is about £2 a bottle cheaper.

Light but lively wine. I enjoy the fruit flavours especially because they don't make the wine too dry. I enjoy the Sparkling Zinfandel both with and without food. I have used it to celebrate special occasions and also on a quiet night in, in front of the TV. I have already recommended it to family and friends and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an excellent alternative to many other overpriced champagnes.

A medium "pink" fizzy wine - if you like the"rose" type wines, you'll like this one too. Just the thing to help you unwind after a testing week at work. Often our Friday night tiple.

This review is for the 2012 vintage
The wine is sweet and has a full fruity flavour of the gives justice to the Zinfandel grape from which it originated. This is an ideal light wine that can be used with most dishes and is favourite sparkler.
