History
Hock is a wine from the Rhine and Mosel region which got is name from the city Hochheim. It is one of the oldest blends made in Germany.

This is a favourite wine of oursfor "everyday use", although we don't actually drink wine every night of the week, just at weekends and holiday times. Probably not for everyone but it is light, not too high an alcohol content and goes well before and during a meal.

I love this wine, it has a light fruity taste, goes with any (or no!!) food. It comes at a really good price and keeps well. I enjoy a glass or two every day and regularly take a bottle with me when going to family dinners at the weekend.
