History
Cantine Pellegrino was founded by Paolo Pellegrino in 1880. The family started trading their rich luscious fortified wine which was easy to transport to Britain. It was a favourite drink of Victorian Englishmen.

The town of Marsala in North West Sicily is famous for the production of this famous fortified wine. The vineyards surrounding the town are planted with the white Grillo grape which goes into the production of Marsala.
