Notes of apples, spice and slight minerality.
A hint of oak add to the complex spice characters of this mouth watering wine.

This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 2 years
The Wine Gang - December newsletter 05/12/2010Bright, fruit-forward stuff with clean if slightly watery orchard and lemon fruit. Palate perhaps a little sweet and lacking a bit of definition. Score: 81/100
Blason de Bourgogne was developed in 2002 as a means of making the somewhat bewildering world of Burgundy wines more accessible to consumers. The range now comprises 29 wines which are sourced from all over the Burgundy region. Blason wines are high quality and good value and represent the very best of what Burgundy has to offer.
Alain Pierre
Blason’s producer of Montagny is Cave de Buxy, one of the gems of the Burgundian co-operative movement, nestled in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise. The South facing slopes give good even sun exposure to ensure good ripe grapes.

A pale, golden wine with delicate fruity undertones. Perfect with for lunch or evening with chicken, fish, salad or even desserts. Very pleasantly surprised with this one!

This is a very jolly burgundy with lots of delicious flavours and a first class act.Good value at the full price but mine came at 50% discount about £7.50,and I have never had a white wine to touch it at the price

This wine has been stocked by Tesco for many years now,and we have enjoyed it over the last decade, it has become a best seller in that time and has a wonderful flavour which you would expect from Old Vines, it is light but full of body and substance with lots of fruity flavour a must to try for that special occassion or if you feel like trying a good French Wine.
