Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
A delicious dry Champagne of great elegance and finesse, with delicate citrus notes and light toasty characters leading to a long, refreshing finish.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 3 years

Tattinger keeps standards admirably high, and its subtle, fresh and lightly toasty style will be a serious treat, either for a festive toast or to go with dainty seafood canapes.
Champagne Taittinger's origins date back to 1734 with the founding of the original House by Jacques Fourneaux. The Taittinger link was established in 1931 when Pierre Taittinger acquired the House. He was stationed at the Château de la Marquetterie when serving in the 1st World War and fell in love with the property and its vineyards and eventually purchased the company. Today, the Reims based House is one of the few key Champagne houses to remain owned and actively managed by the family named on the label.
The grapes for the Brut Réserve come from prime vineyards throughout Champagne, with approximately 50% coming from the Taittinger Estate. It is a carefully balanced blend of wines from more than 35 ’crus’.

The Taittinger Reserve Brut Champagne featured as the Non-Vintage Champagne on a Sparkling Wine & Champagne evening I ran recently. It got the most votes as the favourite wine of the evening beating a 2007 Vintage champagne and top English Sparkling wine (sorry) . Taittinger Reserve Brut delivers a fresher style of champagne, quite restrained and delicate on the nose, with buttery brioche rahther than full on toast aromas. The palate is fresh & complex with citrus and hints of honey on a nice long finish. Delicious!

One of my favourite bottles of the French finest, highly recommend for parties, special occasions and with canapés.

Fuelled a very jolly lunchtime champagne and canape party in our house and the occasional sighting of the Tattinger label gave rise to occasional positive comment. Slightly oversweet to my taste - lacking in the lingering bisciuityness which I look forward to from a glass of expensive bubbly. We followed it with bottles of a Tesco offer Champagne brand which I thought was actually rather better and which I will order again.

Absolutely delightful bubbly that is very drinkable and suitable for all special occasions or just because you can :) .. No excuses actually required! I would buy Taittinger time and time again ( and have done so but never left a comment before now) .. be a covert .. This is very well recommended, so enjoy and cheers !

I like the taste of Tattinger better than all the other champagnes. It was also a treat to get a special price for it if I ordered it quickly. It was excellent - it does not have that tinny taste - and it was enjoyed by all. It was very good as a pre luncheon drink on Christmas day. Thank you very much.
