Ripe aromas of exotic fruits combined with fresh cut apples and sun ripened apricots, full of intriguing flavours from less well known grape varieties.
Well balanced freshness and acidity on a long finish.

This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 1 year
Jancis Robinson - Financial Times 23/06/2012Of the 2010 vintage, Jancis Robinson said: “Seriously distinctive blend of historic local Gascon varieites Gros Manseng, Petit Courbu and Arrufiac from the excellent co-op that dominates wine production in Armagnac country. Dry buy juicy and well structured. No hurry to drink this bargain.”
David Williams - Observer Food Monthly 18/11/2012Of the 2010 vintage, David Williams said: “Very few sub-£10 supermarket whites have as much character as this Gascon white. A blend of the local grape varieties – gros manseng, petit courbu and arufiac – it has an explosively fruity palate that makes it a very versatile food match.”
Victoria Moore - Telegraph Weekend 19/01/2013Of the 2010 vintage, Victoria Moore said: "Here's a super, zippy white wine with a bit of bite - think grapefruit rind and apple - and a slightly glossy texture. It's made by a very good co-operative in the south-west of France from three tongue-twisting grape varieties, gros manseng, petit courbu and arrufiac."
Jamie Goode - S Magazine, Sunday Express 24/03/2013Of the 2010 vintage, Jamie Goode said: "Here's a character-filled dry white from the local grape varieties gros manseng, arrufiac and petit courbu. This is lively and bracing with zesty citrus and grapefruit flavours."

I really like this wine. I think the Tesco tasting notes say everything pretty accurately. Refreshing petillance as Mike noted in his review. A tasty change from the overplayed (if not downright boring!) Chardonnays and Pinot Grigios. A delicious light-medium weight white with a bit of character. Well worth a try.

This review is for the 2012 vintage
I did not get the much of the fruit flavours and would say it is an OK dry white.

The grape varietals are almost unknown but superbly blended.
