Created exclusively for Tesco by award-winning winemaker Gaetane Carron, this is smooth, dark and ravishingly juicy.
The Montepulciano grapes are sourced from hillside vineyards in central Abruzzo, Italy and some of the wines are aged in American oak barrels.
Wonderfully opulent, this is a great match for red meats, stews and burgers.

Background
History
'La Francese' is the locals' nickname for Gaetane Carron, the French winemaker who charmed the growers in Abruzzo into giving her their very best Montepulciano grapes. She has a real passion for wines and insists on being closely involved in the entire process, vine to glass.
