Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
This multi-award winning wine is a dry bright white, fruited, young refreshing wine with apple and lemon notes in the aroma and tasting.
It’s a pleasant and easy drinking wine, smooth, a real day by day wine.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 1 year
Since its foundation in 1998, DFJ has won more wine awards than any other Portuguese winery. José Neiva is the proprietor and winemaker of DFJ Vinhos. He is one of Portugal’s most experienced and respected winemakers and is renowned for producing innovative and exciting wines.
Storks Landing is made at Quinta do Porto Franco in Portugal, José Neiva’s family estate. Around 30 storks nest on the magnificent estate buildings of Quinta da Fonte Bela. The area benefits from many sunshine hours that ripen grapes to perfection. However the cooling influence of the Atlantic Ocean lengthens the ripening cycle and leads to very intense and complex wine.

This wine was one of six bottles in a Christmas mixed case at a modest price. I am normally a red wine drinker because most budget white wines are a little sharp for me, but this one was mellow, a very pleasant drink with no aftertaste, just as described. Sadly it's normally £10 a bottle which is over budget for me.
