Brian Elliot - Scotland on Sunday 25/10/2015
Of the 2014 vintage, Brian Elliot said: “Unlike yesteryear’s blockbuster Oz chardonnay, this is medium-bodied, cooler climate, delicate fare with a defined creamy texture and bright yet soft tropical fruit flavours. Nevertheless, there is also a gentle vanilla and oak-influenced savoury edge that is skilfully balanced by sophisticated tangerine-based acidity.”
Thomas Hardy's pioneering spirit and passion for winemaking spans five generations and is at the heart of our outstanding range of Hardys wines. William 'Bill' Hardy is the fifth generation of this famous winemaking family. Passionate and inspiring, Bill's life-long dedication to his family's wine is honoured and celebrated with this release bearing his name.
The Limestone Coast has a climate well suited for growing Chardonnay, with warm summer days and plenty of sunshine allowing full fruit flavours and sugars to develop.
