This unusual blend of Pinot Noir and Shiraz works wonderfully.
It is deep, full bodied and packed with delicious forest fruit flavours – a good option for people who prefer red wine with their meal.

This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 3 years
Since its foundation in 1998, DFJ has won more wine awards than any other Portuguese winery. José Neiva is the proprietor and winemaker of DFJ Vinhos. He is one of Portugal's most experienced and respected oenologists.

Storks Landing is made at Quinta do Porto Franco, José Neiva's family estate. The area has many sunshine hours that ripen grapes to perfection. However the cooling influence of the Atlantic lengthens the ripening cycle and leads to very intense and complex wine.

A bargain at £5.00, not heavy, a bit thin but very acceptable at the price, a good everyday wine ,

This wine is good but it's quite light and not as fruity as I would have liked. It's great with a meal but not sure if it's something I would drink on it's own.

Surprising combination of grapes but this gives a soft easy drinking for everday. Soft black fruit and a pleasant finish. A good introduction to portuguese wines where there are many delights in store if we have to confidence to try them!

This wine went very well with curry. It had a rich berry taste. Very good value at the price we paid.

This wine is a delight. I say this rarely because I prefer a more suble taste. It stood firmly and elegantly against a very spicy Beef Curry and we'd chosen it, thinking it would be a waste to drink a known and favoured red. What a surprise that it was so round, smooth and delicious to the last drop and fared equally well with cheese. I shall look out for more of this one!! We don't buy Portuguese wine at all usually, as we've spent years trying to find one that 'travels'. This one makes up for many disappointing ones and restores our faith in Portuguese wine makers.

this was a present and we have had excellent feedback.i was unimpressed by the way i placed the order as the web site was difficult to use and it would not allow me to ammend my deleivery address however delivery was efficient and although a little late did arrive- which at the busy time of the year was a blessing in itself.

This is a super wine and sadly not always available. Full bodied and packs a punch, suitable with big meaty dishes.

This is a very smooth, gluggable wine & very good value for money. I don't usually buy Portuguese wine but this was in a mixed case. It was so good we've bought quite a bit more.

Blended with Syrah this makes a good introduction to the flavour of Pinot Noir. An easy drinking wine.

I had doubts about the blend of Pinot Noir and Shiraz but it works extremely well in this concoction. Full-bodied? No way. It is medium, well rounded with delightful fruit and balanced tannins, which is where the old Portuguese reds had trouble. Dismiss this from your mind, Storks Landing is of the new Portugal. No lip-puckering here. An above average wine, when served at supper parties, it received very favourable comments. As in most cases, this wine is not worth the full price but when discounted, it is a very able contender. I will buy again.

I would not describe this wine as full bodied, in fact it is medium with a dry twist but the fruitiness is still there. Probably one of the nicest reds In the price bracket I've had in a long time. Would definitely buy again if offered at the discounted price.
