Voluptuous in mouth-feel it has a buttery quality from the refined oak aging.

Regional info
Limari Valley has a long history of grape growing. Just 15 years ago it was discovered that not only pisco grapes could grow greatly in this area. Different varieties of wine grapes grow excellently in this calcaric soil terroir.

This review is for the 2007 vintage
Both my wife and I disliked the taste of this wine., so much so that we left half a bottle. The following day, whilst creating a curry I decided to just have a little splosh whilst cooking. It was like tasting a different wine. Great for a glass with food, taking to a party but not a quaffing wine.

A great wine, a very worthy addition to any self-respecting cellar. Fresh, slightly buttery with lots of fruit and a touch of acidity, with great length too. At £7.50, if you like Southern Hemisphere chardonnays, you can't go wrong, as nothing in this price range touches it.
