Piccini's story began in 1882 with Angiolo Piccini, who owned only 7 ha of vineyards in the Chianti area. Even today, Piccini is still 100% family owned by Mario and Martina Piccini who mark the 4th generation of the family. Piccini is situated in Castellina in Chianti and it is one of the biggest player in Tuscany.
Chianti Classico is a land of ancient traditions that was civilized in remote periods first by the Etruscans, who left many traces of their activity in the wine sector, and then by the Romans. The characteristics of the climate, terrains and altitudes have made Chianti Classico a region that excels in the production of premium wines.
