A brilliantly rich, spicy Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia's famous Barossa Valley region in the South.
Lively and luscious, this has layers of blackcurrant and raspberry fruit flavours, with a touch of spice.
Makes a great match for casseroles or steak.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 1 year
From Australia’s famous Barossa Valley, this sensational Cabernet Sauvignon has classic cedar spice and blackcurrant aromas, leading to rich, intense, dark berry fruit.
Sister's Run source only from proven plantings that have stood the test of time. We grow our own grapes and source from the best of family vineyards. Our wish is to nurture the unique character of these vineyards and express their terroir in our wines. We believe that to capture variety, vintage and vineyard requires an enlightened approach. Separating single sites, and even single soil types, vine by vine if need be.
The Barossa Valley is home to Australia's and indeed the world's oldest surviving Cabenet Sauvignon. Sister's Run Vigneron Carl Lindner has a great old vine vineyard at Gomersol in the Barossa where Cabernet grows on its own roots, in some of the oldest soil on the planet and a picture perfect climate for the variety. This is just what Sister's Run winemaker Elena Brooks wants for her full flavoured Cabernet.
