Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
Golden in colour with aromas of citrus fruits and notes of smoke.
A very tightly-knit mineral structure with fantastic concentration and complexity on the palate and a very long finish, ensuring 10-20 years ageing at least if it is desired.
This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 10 + years
Domaine FL is an exciting estate with vineyards in some of Anjou’s most prized sites, and their vineyards include four hectares of the highly-prized cru, Roche-aux-Moines. Loire fanatic Philippe Fournier founded the domaine in 2005, although the vineyards and winery have existed for far longer. His cellarmaster is Hugues Daubercies, but respected consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt also advises on the winemaking.

The fruit for this wine was taken from Domaine FL`s 4 hectare `grand cru` vineyard of Roche-aux-Moines in Savennières, which surrounds the Château de Chamboreau, overlooking the Loire. The 20 year old vines have a southerly orientation, providing excellent exposure to the sun. Soils are a mixture of schist with some clay, quartz, dark sand and red volcanic stones, which adds underlying richness to the wines.
