Of the 2013 vintage, Olly Smith said: "Rip-roaring value for finesse, creamy texture an dfruit that's so snappy it's practically a crocodile."
Matthew Jukes - Weekend, Daily Mail 10/05/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Matthew Jukes said: "There are so many cheap white burgundies out there dumbing down this iconic style of chardonnay from the greatest region in the world, but this newly released, brilliantly balanced white isn't one of them. You can see for yourself just how sensational it is".
Matthew Jukes - Weekend, Daily Mail 07/06/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Matthew Jukes said: "Tesco has a finest White Burgundy too, which is a nice wine, but my preference is this 'normal' version, which is a real star. Pristine and well appointed, it's a superb little unoaked Chardonnay."
Olly Smith - BBC Saturday Kitchen 05/07/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Olly Smith said: “An epic white Burgundy – it’s the juice of the Gods. This wine comes from France’s Burgundy region, the grapes are Chardonnay and it’s been cleverly crafted to give a creamy texture without resorting to oak aging. Now with plenty of big-name burgundies capable of burning a hole, not just in your wallet, but in your whole bank account, this wine is worth looking out for, it’s an absolute steal. A wine with a spring in its step and a richness of flavour… pleasure to the max.”
David Williams - The Observer Magazine 31/08/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, David Williams said: "In a region famed for the myriad of tiny differences offered by its thousands of small producers and vineyards, could a product sound more unappetisingly generic than 'Tesco White Burgundy'. But if your budget is in single figures, there aren't many better white bottles from the region: graceful, fresh, unoaked but subtly creamy: the perfect foil for fish pie."
