This is an easy drinking strong flavoured wine, if you like a sturdy white then this is for you - very moreish and goes with Thai food or a BBQ in summer I enjoy this one on its own also.

I'm pleased I only paid £3.99 for this and then I'm sure there was something else to hand instead, a lot tastier I could have tried for the price. I suppose you could say it's innocuous or inoffensive and nothing like paint stripper but then at its full price it should never be that poor. It doesn't deliver at all what it says on the label because it simply isn't delicious! These wines do have their place I suppose well-chilled, at lunch on a warm summers day and enjoying life outside, when you don't want to be left dazed because of too much alcohol. Citrusy, it is a bit, but with absolutely no finish, at only 11.5% ABV, I've bought these generic airen or verdejo blends in Spanish supermarkets for a €euro hoping to discover a well disguised bargain...but it rarely happens. They are what they are cheap and not always cheerful unfortunately. Personal opinion of course.....

Bought this when 62% off...what a good move!!! Will be buying again. Light and dry with a good aftertaste, goes with fish a treat but also as an aperatif.

Served very cold you can't beat this, plenty of flavour but not overpowering.

Drinkers should not forget that Airen is the "bulk" grape of Spain and although this is a good example, it does not have the depth of flavour of the noble varieties . A quaffing wine but not to everyone`s taste.
