Very good value

If you want a reliable every day red wine that can also double as a "grown-up" wine that you can "plonk" on the table of your smart dinner party, Cotes du Rhones are always acceptable, in my opinion. Its not one of those overwhelming fruity numbers that the Aussies and South Africans seem to specialize in. Its as perfectly acceptable with food as it is without. I bought this one because of its price which is about a fiver. I don't think you need spend more, frankly. Note to Tesco - don't you dare put the price up because I think its good value!

I enjoy this particular brand regularly and I keep going back to it for its reliability. Simple but flavoursome, not for keeping but for sharing. An ideal party glug or equally at home with a casserole or pasta dish. Keep it coming!

An "OK" bog standard Rhone. Good value when reduced. Better that the Tesco own label.
