This review is for the 2009 vintage
This Chardonnay does have a wonderful flavour and bouquet but somehow seems to pack too strong a punch, even though it is only 13% strength. It is still wonderfully drinkable but I prefer Chardonnay at between 9% and 12% strength. This wine is robust enough to drink with Salmon or Mackerel starter dishes as it can hold its own on flavour.
