It has intense aromas of crystallized fruit, cinnamon and gingerbread and the myriad flavours of plum, prune, nuts & orange peel fill the mouth.
The wine is sweet and the natural acidity and spicy oak give it a fresh, complex, lingering finish.

I am not a wine expert and very rarely drink at all. I bought this for Christmas and was very pleasantly surprised. It's sweet it has a beautiful colour, and everyone who tried it enjoyed it very much. I am impressed enough with it that I am purchasing a case.

I love these sweet wines including Rivesaltes but this one is most disappointing. It isn't quite as sweet as I expected, or would want it to be. It is also a lot darker in colour than I expected and I wasn't convinced by the taste.
