Background
History
The Ringbolt vineyard is ten kilometres from the ocean on the South West coast of Australia adjacent to some of the renowned vineyards of Margaret River. Ringbolt Bay is named after a merchant ship, which founded on the rocks during a storm.

This review is for the 2010 vintage
Not a wine expert by any means, but I think this is the best red I've ever tasted. After a trip to Western Australia, I stumbled upon it in store when I was looking for a Margaret River wine then promptly ordered a case. Got another bottle for Christmas and will probably order another case when that's gone.

Very smooth wine. No nasty after taste. Not too heavy. Very easy to drink with or without food.

Delicious wine bursting-full of blackcurrant / bramble flavours. Perfect balance of fruit and acidity. Really well made wine that is very drinkable now, but will age gracefully over the next 5 - 8 years if stored carefully. Might just need to promote this one to our very own "house" wine. Will definitely re-purchase this.
