Marques de Casa Concha is a small range of single vineyard wines made from classic grape varieties. Winemaker Marcelo Papa chooses the most suitable location for each grape variety and also uses a variety of French oak barrels from some of the best cooperages in France to achieve an elegant and harmonious style to this austere range of wines.
Edging up the Andes Mountains the vineyard for this Syrah is cool climate, giving rise to a flinty, pure Syrah. Cooling winds drift down from the Andes Mountains and ensure that the vines do not over-heat and therefore ripen too early. This vineyard is also heavily influenced by the El Nino effect - all ensuring optimum vine growth.
