A perfect example of a South African Shiraz with rich, spicy aromas on the nose and dark berry fruit lingering on the palate.

To enjoy this wine at its best, drink within 1 year of purchase.
Our wines are all grown and produced by a dynamic team of neighbouring farmers, all co-owners of the FirstCape brand. We believe this is the best way to guarantee the quality of FirstCape, as they care more about the wines from the vine to the shelf.
David Smit
Our FirstCape wines are all made from grapes grown in the Western Cape of South Africa, throughout the beautiful Breede River Valley just an hour's drive from Cape Town.

Friends recommended this wine and we were not disappointed. It's very good to have as a supping beverage but with sufficient body to drink alongside most food. All this at a very good price.

Thoroughly enjoyed by my dinner party guests who disappointingly drank the whole case! Will have to watch out for it when the next round of offers comes along.

Another winner from South Africa Cape Region using Shiraz wines blended from different areas which results in a medium rich and spicy vintage to be enjoyed with, perhaps, stronger foods. A very good purchase when discounted but, then, a good wine is remembered long after the price. Will buy again. Well done again for finding it.

Like most Shiraz wines this one has a hearty body, and equally importantly a nice nose to go with a fine taste.

this is a particularly smooth and fruity Shiraz and we love it. Price can be prohibitive but when on offer it's our first choice. Enjoy

This was an ok wine with dinner. For me, not so rich etc as described - slightly dry for my taste.

I have purchased First Cape Shiraz from yourselves, both in-store and by the case, on many occasions. It is, as always, a good bodied wine with dark berry flavours and a hint of spice. The offer price was excellent value and too good to pass by!

Like FirstCape Red Cape, this is a very enjoyable, easy drinking and tasty wine but with a smoother feel to it. Ideal on its own or with any meal.

I had bought this before and liked it so when it was online and offer it was offer not to be refused. It has great flavour if you allow the bottle to breathe the taste is far more superior. The wine is a good colour and very palatable.
